SCHOEPS WSR-DMS FOR DOUBLE M/S
October 2003—The WSR-DMS is a special, compact shock-mount and windshielding system for “Double M/S” 5.0 surround recording with two CCM 4VL and one CCM 8L Schoeps mics. The Double M/S technique allows flexible processing of the stereo image width and post-production adjustment. The shockmount includes a cable set adapter for the three mics to a 7-pin XLR-M. Optional is the DMS-Splitter box that simplifies connecting to M/S preamps and mixers and the Windjammer fur cover.

SCHOEPS CMC6 xt
April 2003—The CMC6 xt is the latest addition to Schoeps' Colette Modular Microphone System. When it is combined with one of the company's axial address capsules, such as the MK4 or MK41, the user can benefit from an extended frequency range from 20 Hz to beyond 40 kHz. Other specs: 12-volt/48V phantom powering and 25/35-ohm output impedance, allowing cable lengths of up to 500 meters. Pro Net price: $550. To read the review, click here.

SCHOEPS U.S. EDITION MIC SETS
October 2002—Redding Audio, in cooperation with Schalltechnik Schoeps GmbH, is pleased to introduce a new series of U.S. Edition Microphone Sets. Available only in the U.S. through authorized Schoeps dealers, the sets comprise the company's most popular amp/capsule combinations with accessories in a custom wooden case—at additional cost savings to customers. The initial offering includes four single microphone sets. These sets include a CMC6 amplifier with capsule, an SG20 stand clamp and B5 foam popscreen.

SCHOEPS POLARFLEX MIC SYSTEM
May 2001—Schoeps is shipping its Polarflex Microphone System, which combines a DSP processor paired with two omni and two figure-8 (or four cardioid) capsules to emulate the sound of nearly any microphone. Polarflex can be used conventionally—like any stereo mic—or the signals from the four capsules can be recorded separately and combined after the recording, with processing handled in the analog or digital domain, giving the user full control over reverberant ambience, directional characteristics and tonal shaping.

SCHOEPS MK 41 V AND CCM 41 VG
October 2000—The MK 41 V and CCM 41 VG are side-address versions of the popular MK supercardioid capsule and CCM compact microphone. Frequency response is 50-20k Hz @ 2 dB. The MK 41 V is $1,165; the CCM 41 VG is $1,960.
